Application

Our non-shielded Airport Lighting Cable (L-824 Type C) is insulated with a cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) compound, providing excellent resistance to abrasion, crushing, chemicals, oil, and moisture, and is rated for use at 90°C in dry and wet conditions. It is suitable for use in series lighting circuits for airport runways and control systems. The cable can be direct buried or installed in conduit or raceway.

Conductor: Single conductor, annealed stranded bare copper (7 strands) per ASTM B3; Class B stranding per ASTM B8
Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), 110 mils nominal thickness
